Success stories

Dr. Crowder,

Your surgical skills have made a huge positive difference in my life. My neck and back. I appreciate so much what you have done for me!

Dr. Crowder is the best doctor. He is extremely competent and takes the time to think about how to help his patients. Most doctors will give a patient 15 minutes and not worry about how to solve the patient’s medical problems. Dr. Crowder will try to see the whole picture and refer a patient to needed medical doctors for collaboration. He thinks about how to solve the medical puzzles that a patient presents. He listens, has empathy and is highly skilled. I trust him completely.

Dr. Crowder and staff –

We want to thank you so much for expediting my dad’s surgery – you can’t imagine how much we appreciate your kindness and care. The hospital was amazing – this is coming from a surgery manager!

Dr. Crowder & Company:

What can I say besides thank you a million! My wife is on a road to rehab and recovery and we are glad that you were our chosen facility and staff!! After a year of searching we sure are happy and grateful for you! Thanks again!

I have recommended Dr. Crowder to many people, even if it is just for a consultation. He was one of the few doctors that would even look at my back because of a prior discectomy 20+ years before. My operation, although a long and difficult one, has given me back a bit of my life. I can sit longer now, I can walk longer, and I am not in so much pain. He is a great listener and if I still have questions he will sit there and wait until I am done asking.

Kristina, this e-mail is simply to say I think you are one of the finest MA’s I have ever encountered and hope that everyone you work with appreciates you for your worth. Also, I want to wish you an awesome holiday with your family. You are the greatest and I thank you for all your help these last 2 years.

Please pass this on to Dr. Crowder:

You are a fine surgeon, and even here in Show Low they talk about you and what they have seen you do in a short time at the hospital. I want to thank you for your patience with me and all you saw me through including the broken bones which were not in your field to even treat. I want to tell you that your bedside manner is exception, and because I wanted a miracle from you (the same one you used on my spine) I was a pain in your butt, but you never let it show. LOL You will be so rich and famous someday, the little people will never get in to see you! I can't thank you enough for trying all you did to fix my (BUTT), and I know you wanted to give me up a long time ago. YOU ARE THE BEST. I wish you and your family a blessed and perfect holiday however you spend it. Again, thank you for everything, and thank you for being what all physicians should be.

Dr. Crowder,

My family and I would like to express our gratitude for giving me my life back. That's no overstatement given my condition only two weeks ago. Thank you for making the decision to replace the additional disc and save me from an additional procedure. I couldn't have hoped for better care.

After 34 years of intermittent and often intense pain, Dr. Crowder found the problem and performed a flawless surgery on my back. That was in mid-February. Now, in August I'm living my life every day without pain! I can't say enough about the professionalism that both Sonoran Spine and Dr. Crowder and his staff offer. I live in California and saw many different doctors and surgeons here. None of them were able to make a sensible diagnosis. I heard about Dr. Crowder, so I decided it was worth the travel to Arizona to see him. It was.

As a single, 40 something woman, I lead an active and busy lifestyle that can do a number on my back. My technology job in product marketing keeps me sitting at my computer all day while my equestrian lifestyle keeps me busy riding my horses, competing and trying to keep up with the maintenance of a 3 acre property. When my lower back pain started preventing me from riding my horses, or training for my newfound passion of barrel racing, I knew I was in trouble.

Dr. Crowder had done a microsurgery on me a year prior after a herniated disc/pinched sciatica stopped me in my tracks. When this latest chronic pain started affecting even the most simple of pleasures, like reading in bed at night, I knew I needed help again. This time around, my L1-L2 disc was completely deteriorated.

Committing to surgery and the recovery time was a hard decision for me. I'd worked hard in 2013 on my horses and had three buckles on the line in my arena obstacle/trail course challenges, barrel racing and pole bending events. My job was also becoming a challenge as the back pain made business travel unbearable.

Dr. Crowder completed full disc replacement on me in August of 2013. Just 3 ½ weeks later, I rode one of my horses to a 1st place finish in an arena obstacle/trail course challenge, walking, trotting and even loping the pattern. After only 7 ½ weeks, I returned to my barrel racing and pole bending. I was advised to ride as long as I was comfortable and continued to run barrels and poles the rest of the year, completing my 2013 season with personal best times and progressing into faster divisions for 2014.

I won my buckle for the arena/obstacle challenge series and also won my buckle for my pole bending yearend highpoint. I have Dr. Crowder and the team at Sonoran Spine for giving me back my passion. The buckles are just icing on the cake!

I was a patient of Dr. Terrence Crowder. I came to him two years ago with severe lower back pain, which I had been plagued with for many years. I tried every possible treatment available, all with no relief or solution to my pain.

I met with Dr. Crowder, and within 5 minutes, he informed me that there was no other option, but surgery. Within weeks, I had the surgery that I needed, and was well on my way to a full recovery. It has now been two years, and I am pain free and back to living a full life without any limitations.

I can't say enough about Dr. Crowder's excellent care, compassion, and professionalism throughout this procedure. And, his staff was just as caring as he.

I would recommend Sonoran Spine to anyone, and have done so. Thanks again,

Sincerely,

SB

Dr. Crowder,

Thank you for everything you have done to help me. It means more than you may know that you understood me, my diagnosis, my treatment plan, and everything in between. Three back surgeries in 22 months is a lot, and you were there for it all. I am happy to close this chapter of my life and it would not be successful without you.

Back in June I saw Dr. Crowder for an evaluation to help overturn a military disqualification. I was recently informed the appeal was successful and I will be allowed to test. I would like to thank Dr. Crowder and his staff for all their support. This would not have been possible without all your help. Words cannot describe how grateful I am. Thank you again,

P.M.
