ABC 15’s Sonoran Living Interviews Dr. Chang about Pediatric Scoliosis

December 02, 2013

Dr. Michael Chang made a live appearance on Sonoran Living to discuss pediatric scoliosis. Pediatric scoliosis, which affects up to 3% of school age children, is a condition that causes the spine to curve or twist. Ideal for concerned parents and caregivers, Michael S. Chang, MD, in conjunction with Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center and Sonoran Spine, will host a free pediatric scoliosis lecture and screening from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Sat., Dec 7 at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center, 9003 E. Shea Blvd.. The event is free to attend but registration is required at www.SHC.org/events

"Pediatric scoliosis is usually easily corrected if caught early, which is why—if parents or caregivers are even the slightest bit concerned—they should come to this event," Chang says. "You cannot ask for a better team of experts than those at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea and Sonoran Spine to screen young patients."

At the pediatric scoliosis lecture and screenings, Chang will lecture from 10-11 a.m. and screenings will take place from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
